This module focused on understanding how the brain learns and retains information, and how movement can support attention, focus, and readiness to learn. Through lesson analysis, trainer inputs, and guided discussion, teachers explored key aspects such as attention span, memory overload, emotional safety, and pacing of instruction. The trainer demonstrated Brain Gym activities, allowing teachers to experience movement-based strategies firsthand. Discussions centred on when and how such activities can be used purposefully within classroom routines to enhance engagement and improve retention, rather than being treated as unstructured breaks.
