The Active Learning Strategies workshop addressed the challenge of passive learning and uneven engagement. Teachers experienced active learning first-hand through collaborative tasks, movement-based activities, structured discussion, and problem-solving routines. Frequent pauses allowed teachers to analyze what sustained attention and what caused disengagement. Teachers later reported increased student participation, improved focus, and more meaningful classroom interactions across subjects.
