The Growth Mindset workshop was conducted to help teachers understand the difference between fixed and growth mindsets, as described in Carol Dweck’s research. Teachers examined common classroom statements and identified how everyday language can unintentionally label ability. Through sorting tasks, role-plays, and feedback-rewriting activities, teachers practiced responding to mistakes, effort, and progress in ways that build confidence and persistence. Teachers reported noticeable shifts in student willingness to try, speak up, and remain engaged when learning became challenging.
